Pretty certain the cab driver has paid more than $32 for that type of service in the past. Perhaps he just was mad he didn’t have the $ to cover the fair after the transaction.

Fremont isn’t exactly a booming metropolis. It is a small town between Cleveland and Toledo. It is almost certain that the cab driver either knows the woman or knows of the woman. Not a whole lot of cab traffic.
