Online donations have poured in for the family of a Green Beret killed in action while fighting ISIS extremists in Afghanistan over the weekend, Fox & Friends reported Friday.
The GoFundMe page for Staff Sgt. Mark De Alencars wife and five children raised more than $181,000 by Friday morning, far surpassing the original goal of $15,000.

I think taking out those tunnels/caves in Afghanistan [with the MOAB] was in response to the death of this Green Beret.
I think the Trump admin thought it would send a strong message to Syria and an even stronger message to North Korea.
I need to post the link to the Go-Fund-Me page, if I can find it...

Thanks. But I beat you to it. I posted the link in reply #3 and you put in #4
God Bless SSG DeAlencar and his family. His wife and 5 children have some difficult times ahead. I love the idea of gofundme and am donating. If anyone is ever wary of giving directly, I do know www.specialops.org will pay for 100% of his children’s college costs. I’ve known them and been donating to them for over a decade. Highest rating on charity navigator.
It’s $237,664 as of 5:31 AM on April 15. The mother has 5 children to raise, however.
How do we know this is a legitimate account? There have been many hoaxes set up to scam money and credit card info.
At last count Go Fund Me at $243K plus . God bless him and his family .
2. The guy claims to be a friend of the Green Beret killed.
But you have a right to be skeptical. I do not believe it to be a hoax.
Page is set up by Nikki Damron who says her husband is military and a very close friend of Mark De Alencar.
FoxNews has the resources to investigate if this is a hoax or not, and they would have egg on their faces if it was a hoax.
I hope you are right because there is a comment at the gofundme site from a person who claims to be the sergeant’s sister that says she hopes it is not a hoax.
