The worst villain ever. The character and the actor were boring.
Remember Force powers are nothing more than wish fulfillment, the training is mostly about control and finding out what you can actually do. Luke had all of like 10 minutes of Force training before winding up in an X-Wing and flying better than almost everybody else. And as for lightsaber, she really wasn’t that good, it was just that Ren was fighting a subduing style, big slow hard swings to tire the other person out, because he didn’t want to kill her. Anybody can fight against that, you’re SUPPOSED to be able to block all the shots. It’s not like she did any double moves, that’s where things get hard.
Honestly I’d love for him to show up with the Imperial Remnant being a third force from the First Order and New Republic but that requires a kind of talent sorely lacking from Disney Wars.
Like was a amateur pilot that had actual prospects of going to the Academy, that’s why he was decent. Not the force.
The problem with all that canon is there’s so much of it. Just look at what happened to Star Trek, trying to navigate through nearly a thousand hours of canon was strangling the franchise. SW has tens of thousands of pages, it would be crazy. Meanwhile they’ve been bringing stuff back, Thrawn is in canon, and Jade could be. And really nothing they’ve done says the Heir series didn’t happen, it easily could fit in between 6 and 7.
