Now here's a list from estimable investigative report Sharyl Attkisson about where the major press leans ideologically. Nice to see that one publication with the masthead matching the one here, right there in the center on the right side, situated between The Economist and National Review
Attkisson asked for advice on tweaking the chart as to the placements, which I can helpfully offer for starters: The Wall Street Journal, National Review, The Economist, and Forbes can all move a couple of ticks leftward. Daily Beast can move several ticks left. Meanwhile, The Hill, RealClearPolitics, the Daily Signal, and the Daily Caller can probably move a tick or two to the right. Readers are encouraged to help her out with their own takes if they are so inclined.

Reuters is definitely not in the center. They are hard left all the time.

The Hill has gone very far left recently. Used to read it, now it reads like HuffPo.
Yes, Al-Reuters jumped out at me as well.
I lose my mind a folks who think npr is unfiltered, neutral news.
Need to change the word LEFT to ‘Tyranny’ and the word RIGHT to ‘Freedom’
Interesting chart. It would be quite telling to see another one rating truthfulness (including failure to tell ‘the whole truth’). I suspect the alignment wouldn’t be too different (plotting untruthfulness to the left)
So where is Free Republic??
The writer provides a link in the article to give reader’s suggestions to Atkisson. Sheryl Atkisson requested reader input.
The Wall Street Journal has always been a liberal paper.
The Journal got the reputation for being ‘conservative’ because their op-ed page was conservative. Other than that their journalists are no different than the folks at the New York Times.
The Wall Street Journal is left. Yeah, the editorial page is sane, but the news reporting is indistinguishable from the NYTimes, imo.

CQ Roll Call
PBS NewsHour’s political editor Christina Bellantoni will become the editor-in-chief of Roll Call, the publication announced Monday. She replaces David Rapp, who will become chief content officer of CQ Roll Call, the release says.
Bellantoni previously worked at Roll Call.
Agree about the Daily Caller, disagree about The Hill.
It is striking when Mother Jones isn’t actually in the left-most column. I think that is simply because they are more honest than the poseurs to the far edge of her graph.
Reuters definitely and The Blaze probably both need to be moved leftward.
I cannot find Huffington Post on the chart.
When I still had liberals on my friend list, I was always receiving emails with HP articles in the effort to reform me.
It’s there. Left most column, nine down.
