All it would take is an EMP over the US to put our technology back to the1800s. Gaslight, bicycles, charcoal. Transportation would grind to a halt.
That doesn’t even address the possibility of a nuke in S. Korea, Japan.

I don’t have a solution,but one thing I would do.
Make sure none of their missile launches are successful. Use directed beam or other weapons to Serreptitiously destroy the missiles in flight.
