I wondered what the heck was the purpose of his press conference. All I could make out of it as I did not listen long enough was that it was all Wiki’s and Assange’s fault.

My other half told me to watch and see...that this election may have prevented Hillary from winning but we will likely see more the same, that nothing will really change. I said nothing, just listened.

“Wikileaks won the election for the GOP.”

Trump won the election. WikiLeaks provided a valuable service by making available some accurate information that the media was lying about.

If the information had not been leaked to WikiLeaks, it would have been linked to someone else.

So when Pompeo was speaking, was he standing up for Hillary?

Well, it’s always a roll of the dice... I’ve never been so delighted and frustrated by an administration before.

“CIA Director Mike Pompeo, in his first speech since taking over the agency, lambasted WikiLeaks and its founder Julian Assange — calling the group a “non-state hostile intelligence service” that is often abetted by “state actors like Russia.””

Meet the new boss.

Same as the old boss.

All wikileak is doing is what the media has been doing without fikters.

The CIA is dumb as a rock if it figures the secrets are safe if the media keeps the, from the public..

Ar least Assange is not keeping the data to sell to our enemies

The CIA does not like made fun of or looking incompetent.

If Assange has kept the datas for himself to sell secretely to terrorist enemies, then it would have been fine for the CIA, looking good

#sethrich - worked @ DNC and was murdered in DC. Possible asassination for leaking DNC emails. Assange and Guccifer 2.0 claim he was the whistleblower.

If true, all hero’s in my opinion.

As opposed to a hostile & corrupt intelligence service like the CIA?

Edward Snowden and Julian Assange have both done a lot of damage to our country's intelligence gathering capabilities. Unfortunately for us, that damage was necessary. The NSA and the CIA are both operating outside the bounds we have set for them in the Constitution.

Abiding by the Constitution trumps everything bad that Assange and Snowden have done.

Free Assange! Pardon Snowden!

Plus, everyone knew that the DNC had rigged the nomination process by looking at the "super delegate" line up.

Wikileaks just added some confirmation for people who take a little longer to figure things out.

Old lawyer trick. If you can’t argue the message then discredit the messenger. I listened for a while before realizing he had nothing new to say. All he accomplished was to placate the company faithful.

It looks like Trump’s cabinet, one by one, is coming out on the side of The Swamp and defending bureaucracy liars and criminals instead of running them out of the government.

Remember that Wikileaks goes way back before the 2016 election. If I remember correctly, Assange wasn’t very well liked here on FreeRepublic when Wikileaks was posting information embarrassing to the Bush administration years ago.
