According to several sources, North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un has ordered 600,000 people to evacuate the capital city of Pyongyang. The report originally appeared in Pravda, but a reporter for Channel News Asia tweeted that foreign journalists have been told to prepare to move out of the capital – without their cell phones.

Human shields. I am willing to bet they are being moved to areas that store nuclear materials, to prevent strikes against them. Key points are foreign journalists and no cell phones. Those people will have no idea and it would be all over the news that US or Chinese Airstrikes took out journalists and civilians.

Allegedly, the 600,000 are those with “criminal records”, who Kim doesn’t want taking up space in the city bomb shelters that could go to model citizens. I’ve seen conflicting reports on the evacuation notice being legit; several news sources have reported it, but people on the ground there have also indicated that no such announcement has been made.
As to the journalists being dragged out at 620am for a “big event”, it turned out to be nothing more than Li’l Kim officially opening a new High Street district.

The reporter is conflating 2 things,
(1) the reporter notification to the big event (which was opening of new street), and
(2), the (supposed) partial evac of so-called criminals so enough room in shelters.
