Secretary of State Kris Kobach announces first conviction of noncitizen voting in Kansas
Kansas City Star ^ | April 12, 2017 | Hunter Woodall

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach said Wednesday that he has obtained his first conviction of a person who illegally voted in a Kansas election without being a U.S. citizen.

Kobach, who has advised President Donald Trump on immigration and voter fraud, said that Victor David Garcia Bebek has pleaded guilty to voter fraud.

Kobach, a Republican, is the only secretary of state in the country with the authority to prosecute voter fraud.

“No matter how many cases we prosecute the political left will always whine that there’s not enough cases to justify protecting our elections in this way,” Kobach said in a phone interview. “That’s absurd.”

Perhaps he is the only SoS that can prosecute directly.

Wouldn't the procedure in the other states be for the SoS to refer a criminal complaint to that state's Attorney General?

Most states have an Attorney General who has the prosecutorial power. In many states vote fraud laws come under the jurisdiction of County prosecutors.

Why do County and State prosecutors ... and federal prosecutors avoid vote fraud cases? That is the question.

In the past in Illinois I handed vote fraud cases on a silver platter to Republican County, Republican state and Republican federal prosecutors and they were ignored.
My friends have similarly given Republican prosecutors vote fraud cases. We collected almost all the evidence, sworn statements by all 5 election judges, sworn statements of registered voters that they did not vote with evidence as to who voted on their behalf, etc.

Are Republican prosecutors lazy? Incompetent? Corrupt? What gives?

Yours is a story that deserves far wider attention.

It isn’t just my story, few people, including groups like True-The-Vote want to deal with reality, with truth.

How many stories do you see that discuss HAVA-Help America Vote Act? Yet that is the single source of most of the current 2017 voting problems.

Here is GA, RINO Secretary of State Kemp was about to have his corruption scandal exposed. He fired one scapegoat who was not at all at fault for the scandal peeking out from behind the covers. After that not liberal news media, not local conservative talk radio, nobody wanted to discuss the real scandal. Maybe if RINO Kemp runs for governor his opponent will cause the scandal to get some publicity. But based on events so far, I doubt it.

Almost nobody wants to discuss the reality of our election system. ... and hint. It isn’t about illegals voting, that is a distraction from the real scandal.
