A state-commissioned report on climate change released Wednesday raises the stakes for fighting global warming, offering a clearer and, in some cases, more catastrophic picture of how much sea levels will rise in California.

I was at the piers last week and the water didn’t look like it has risen an inch...
Whew, that’s a relief! Glad our home in Carmel isn’t down on the beach! Maybe when the seas rise it will be though! We can only hope!
Breaking: Researcher states the obvious known to residents of coastal towns and cities all over the world since humans settled on the coasts of rivers and oceans: If the water rises it could be catastrophic.
Stew pet.
The article was pure conjecture and obtuse innuendo .
oh,the horror.
Unfortunately, like most of its predecessors, it is not supported by scientific fact, just another few million dollars thrown to some pseudo-scientists that are otherwise unemployable who without the grant would live in their parents basement smoking dope and playing video games.
Can only imagine the fruits and nuts that sat on that commission and the level of paranoia and overt schizophrenia displayed at their “sessions”.
Judging from the parts of California I’ve seen, it’s got an awful long way to go before it can rise to the tops of high cliffs.
The government in that state is the only thing that is catastropic.
Spring Moonbattery in the Land of Fruits and Nuts.
We have the same type of hysteria with the state enviros here in Delaware. Being a totally controlled Democrat state we get a lot of stuff like that, including higher electric rates because of mandated ‘renewable’ energy.
Whenever I look for info on sea level rise, all I see is future predictions ... especially regarding California. Is there any data showing an actual, documented rise in Cali?
WRONG! The entire state government is made of fruits and nuts! It’s unbelievable -—— 12 cent gas tax voted in this week by state legislature, etc, etc.
Sierra Pacific Power, or NV Energy now, wanted to build a new coal powered plant in NV. Reid/Obama crushed it to dust. Now we have solar panels outside of Vegas that fry all the birds that fly overhead, and do nothing to provide Vegas energy for NIGHT LIGHTS. But Reid probably owns all the land they sit on..
This is the same report recycled again and again and again and again.....Nonsense. When will these clowns hold themselves accountable to their last intentionally phony predictions that have yet to come true? Don’t hold your breath. Pure unadulterated crap and nonsense.
Just raise taxes. Problem solved.
You nailed it. Lots of professors doing it too. Where they used to publish or perish, now they scrounge for grants.
Al Gore bought a three million dollar apartment, sea level, in San Fransisco about 8 years ago. Rising waters are a hoax.
