Except if you’re not white then you can assume that all white people got their jobs BECAUSE they’re white.
I guarantee they don’t see the irony of this garbage.
You make a good point. White privilege, from what I can tell, is all about envying how whites see and treat one another. But if you are white, people of color DO think you got everything you have because you are white. They DO think everything you do reflects upon your race. And you DO encounter people of color who have positions of (usually temporary) power over you (TSA, anyone?) who DO want to harass or objectify you. This is purely about how white people see other white people, and them wanting white people to see POC as they see whites, but not expecting POC to see whites as they see each other.
