Gov. Jerry Brown’s administration is using federal security regulations written to thwart terrorism to deny public access to records that experts say could guide repairs to the Oroville Dam and provide insight into what led to the near catastrophic failure of its emergency spillway.

The administration also is blocking public review of records that would show how Brown’s office handled the February crisis at Oroville Dam that led to the two-day evacuation of nearly 200,000 Northern Californians.

Another form of “Brown Out”.

Grossly mismanaged operation in Sacramento.

The SuperMajority is failing again.

Wasn’t there a report that Brown had spent $24 billion on Sanctuary Cities and Illegal protections and benefits, and ignored the infrastructure of the Oroville Dam?

The “News” is out there.
Witnesses are out there.
FR was right there.

What we know is really, really bad.

What is being hidden is much, much worse.

Didn’t CA just get over $200 mil in federal money for that damn dam? If so, where does Gov Moonbean get off telling American taxpayers they can’t get a look at why.

Can we deport enough Brown voters to accomplish that?

The only people who need the records to FIX the dam are the people hired to FIX the dam.

Argue all you want that we need a public accountability, but don’t pretend that blocking public access means the repair work can’t be done properly.

Can we expect Judicial Watch to file a FOIA request? Seems like there would be some enviro groups that would also be interested.

The only thing environmental groups care about are issues to raise money with, period. All the other crap they yell about is just creating more issues to raise money with. There is no way on this earth they will do anything to embarrass their enablers.

Perhaps some of the data for fixing can be hidden for various reasons, but bear in mind that there is evidence of spillway damage weeks before that should have been caught before it was undermined. And, the history as well - the apparent coverup of the power house accident and its worker injuries.

“Another form of “Brown Out”.”

From one of his earlier “runs” for Governor. “If It’s Brown, Flush It!”

The people who pay for the dam own the dam. The people who have to pay to clean up yet another Brown family mess have an absolute right to see how he’s pissed their money away.

Moonbat wants federal funds—that makes it our business.
