Good question. Not sure. This documents he got donations from Dillon Aero. He worked $350 million in Ukraine aid into last year's National Defense Authorization Act, which he sponsored: STATEMENT BY SASC CHAIRMAN JOHN McCAIN ON NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT CONFERENCE REPORT: "Extends and increases security assistance to the Government of Ukraine to $350 million, including the authorization to provide lethal military assistance. The agreement requires needed Ukrainian defense institutional reforms that will enable Ukraine to fully leverage security assistance investments to maximize defense capabilities and ensure that those capabilities are sustained."

This was something he was pushing hard on since 2015, which would help explain why he attacked Trump over Russia: Push to arm Ukraine roars back in Senate (June 16, 2015) : "While not the focus of its veto threat, the administration argues that the provision “forces the hand” of President Obama on a foreign policy decision that “should rest with the Executive Branch.” Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), however, has rejected that notion, saying that a decision from Obama on lethal aid “is long overdue.” “The NDAA doesn’t force the president to provide lethal assistance to Ukraine,” he said in response to the administration’s threat. “Trust me, if there were a way to do that, it would be in the bill.”. . .The push to increase support for Ukraine comes after several senators, including Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk earlier this month. Durbin said after the meeting it was “clear” that Ukraine needed more economic and military assistance, including weapons. “The United States must act swiftly to provide this assistance,” he said. Yatsenyuk’s visit followed Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s request for more military equipment. He told lawmakers “one cannot win a war with blankets.” A senior administration official said that since early 2014, the United States has given Ukraine approximately $195 million in security assistance."

Hard to believe that amount of money would be involved without kickbacks somewhere.

You can draw a straight line from Ukrainian MP Serhiy Leshchenko to Ukrainian American Alexandra Chalupa an operative on the DNC payroll, who after checking in at the Ukrainian Embassy in DC was sent to Kiev to meet Leshchenko and dig up dirt on Paul Manafort.

If I had to guess I’d say the hand written ledger Leshchenko ‘found’ is a Ukrainian intelligence service fabrication.

Thanks; I had noticed Chalupa was central to the DNC hacking scandal but at the time I didn't spot the Ukranian connection, which puts some pieces together:

Reconstructing the Russian Trump Dossier Story: A Timeline

Spring 2015: Hackers target DNC consultant Alexandra Chalupa, who was doing opposition research on Donald Trump; Chalupa’s emails will later be released by Wikileaks

Summer 2015: Hacker COZY BEAR infiltrates DNC network

Which two guys? The Agency has certainly been running operations in the Ukraine with funding from Soros, I assume some of the people we’re discussing are assets.

Are you sure you have the correct time line for Chalupa getting hacked?

She said it was her research into Paul Manafort the prompted the Russians to hack her email, which would make the time frame Spring 2016 not 2015.

And since Chalupa was using Yahoo email, it may have been the work of Karim Baratov, the hacker who was recently arrested in Canada.

Page and Manaforte.
Thinking if dems know they were working undercover who better to Attack. The know they’re not about to blow their own cover.

I think back to a member of Sunday school class. He was at one point of his career undercover for Drug unit. Often came in looking very scary. One Sunday he laughed that he had been arrested - booked etc so not to blow his cover. Said it was OK cause it was under one of his many “work names”

He worked in nearby states. I’m sure matching finger prints without the entire story could give him quite a difficult time

So I here is the email Chalupa sent to Luis Miranda at the DNC informing them she thought she was being hacked courtesy of Wikileaks.

FW: You saw this, right?

It looks like it happened in May 2016.

Thanks for fact-checking that. My source for that was this timeline, but I see that for that item, they in turn link to this July 25, 2016 article by Michael Isikoff (a frequent coauthor of Philip Agee's Soviet espionage coconspirator Mark Hosenball, incidentally--Isikoff is also mentioned in the Chalupa email you link), which says, "Just weeks after she started preparing opposition research files on Donald Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort last spring, Democratic National Committee consultant Alexandra Chalupa got an alarming message when she logged into her personal Yahoo email account." My deduction is that Michael Best, the person who put the timeline together, interpreted "last spring" to mean "last year" (spring 2015) rather than "a few months ago" (spring 2016).

A couple articles focusing on the role of the Chalupas:

---

Russia Hacking the Election the Inside Story

We know by now that Alexandra Chalupa was the person in charge of the Democratic National Committee's "ethnic outreach" efforts. According to Yahoo News, she was one of the 16 people that shaped the national election in 2016. In the Yahoo story journalist Michael Isikoff described her as a normal person that shaped history.

Alexandra Chalupa has been the voice behind saying Russia illegally interfered with the election. And according to her story, she was almost hacked repeatedly while researching Paul Manafort. The Democrats say this caused the Clinton defeat. No one explained why "researching" Paul Manafort, an American, would excite Russian attention.

Strangely, every article about her neglects to mention that Chalupa and her family are not Democrats as suggested. Instead they are admitted ultra-nationalists bent on sending America to war with Russia by any means possible. And they are vocal about it.

None of the articles connect the fact that the Clinton loss is personal for the Chalupa family. At least 2 of them were going to the White House as advisors and cabinet members.

The many articles about Chalupa or a Russian influence on the election fail to mention the Chalupas admitted to violating federal law a couple of years ago. She was part of the leadership that overthrew a country the US was at peace with. If investigated, with admissions in hand, it could mean 25 years in a federal prison. Should someone tweet @realDonaldTrump?

The articles don't touch on the fact that Alexandra Chalupa has almost instant access to "state sponsored actors" or hacktivists through Ukrainian propagandist Irena Chalupa. The Ukrainian emigres would do anything to get Hillary Clinton elected that starts a war with Russia. Do any of the articles state the Chalpupa family glorify Stepan Bandera, groups like Pravy Sektor or the murders of innocent civilians in Ukraine?

Both Alexandra and Andrea Chalupa started what was known as Digital Maidan in 2014. Andrea Chalupa is a writer, journalist, and producer in New York. Andrea helped launch online video for Conde' Nast Portfolio and AOL Money & Finance.

Digital Maidan brought what turned out to be the Euro-Maidan coup in Ukraine worldwide. What they did was set up a means that millions of people could coordinate and lobby government officials around the world as well as raise money for the ensuing coup. . .

For someone who’s undercover like that, not blowing their cover would definitely be a consideration. For someone in Page or Manafort’s more overt position, I should think foreign intelligence agencies assume they’re potential spies.

This is interesting...these sisters were likely already on the radar of Russian intelligence when Alexandra went to work for the DNC.

>Can one still buy a life insurance policy on someone else’s head? If so, I’ll take one for $2 million on this guy.

Who’s he got to be scared of? It’s in Russia’s interest that the US rip itself apart over these type of BS scandals. I would bet most of the Russian trolls farms are playing them up these days.

Since Hunter Biden took the new job, his father, Vice President Joe Biden, has continued to serve as the Obama Administration's point person on Ukraine, traveling to the country as recently as June for the inauguration of President Petro Poroshenko and talking to Poroshenko by phone at least five times in the last month.

Wonder if Pelosi would like to have the unredacted recordings and transcripts of these calls released?
