He’s proven he can play at this level

Last year he didn't. Average player + controversy = unemployed. Stellar player + controversy = employed.

I’m shocked! Why wouldn’t a single NFL team want to hire this guy after he shit all over our nation, our flag, our history and our police officers?? And he shit on all of those things every week and millions of fans shut off the TV for the whole season! Gee, I wonder..

I don’t think this is going to change the majority of the American People’s attitude toward the abhorrent UnAmerican Sentiment so proudly portrayed and Celebrated by the NFL and it’s Broadcasters.

as for myself, well I gave up on Pro Sports and Hollywood in General 30 years ago when they gave up on Decency, Morality, and Virtue. Never been Happier.

I hope the Hurt keeps coming.

Curt Flood was no Colin Kapernich.

Curt Flood was fighting for the rights of players to be free agents.

Anyone who thinks his stats are good enough to pursue, would have had to look at Romo’s first. Sure, Romo might be physically unable to play if injured, but Kaepernick will cost your team 15% of its fan base and put all the media attention on the wrong things. Better off to hope for one in the draft.

Seems like America needs to be constantly entertained to keep the people from paying attention from what’s happening in our country. Kind of like what happened to the Roman empire

I look forward to Kaepernick working the Burger King fryer on one of the future episodes of ESPN’s Where Are They Now

Perhaps Chobani is hiring...

Under Obama there wasn’t much to entertain. The masses didn’t focus on him or Hillary enough to matter.

That woman coming as close to winning as she did, now that sure makes me thing of the last days of the Roman Empire.

I’m not a big scholar on the period, but I have been led to believe corruption played a big part.

I didn’t get the contextual reference there. I’ve been talking mostly Syria.

There is a gladiatorial aspect to our sports.

I’m not a big fan of football any longer, but the concept of the game is rather reminiscent of the gladiator. It’s a tough sport.

We don’t go thumbs up or down on actual life, and the slavery has been stripped.

The masses are entertained though. Interesting thought there.

In contrast to the 9ers of the wonder years, to be drafted by the modern 49ers you must have an IQ under 80 and have the potential of a sociopath.

well, it may be sad but any team that hires him is gonna suffer a significant drop in gate (revenues)

insulting the paying customers is not a winning business strategy (just ask United Airlines, Target, even JCPenneys)

Second string QBs are a dime a dozen. If one causes inordinate distraction, why would anyone hire him?

I think that award is voted by the players. He’s obviously not the only cretin on the team.

With two wins last season and only 14 losses, I’m surprised he didn’t get an offer.

With viewership down 8% for the entire NFL for the year, and more for the 49ers, I’m surprised he didn’t get an offer.

With his habit of “starting a conversation” by insulting our flag, our Anthem, and our country, I’m surprised he didn’t get an offer.

After all, Colin Kaepernick is a hero to the far-left fringe, and that’s more important than mere money. I’m glad it’s more important to him than money, because being celebrated by the America-hating, self-hating Ctrl-Left is all he’ll ever have.
