Yeah.

Too bad he’d be just as anathema if he was lily white blonde for acting the arrogant whiny ass.

The QB is the face of the team to the community. Sorry that is one ugly face.

The 49ers can always resign him on the cheap.

The NFL exists to make money.

Any team which Kaepernick is on will experience significantly reduced revenues, and the league as a whole will suffer somewhat, as well.

Kaepernick is toxic...

Why the surprise? CK is a toxic idiot.

I wonder if anyone kept a list of the other jerks who “joined with him in solidarity”.

It would be hilarious if the teams systematically gave them all pink slips. Zero publicity of course, just quiet announcements. You can bet it would send a loud message to the other players to STFU.

There are plenty of teams who would be glad to have a quarterback of his caliber.

Off the field and out of that uniform until you can stand for our flag.

The American people hire Trump as their POTUS, while the football team that plays in the country’s most Left wing city fires it’s Left wing, Whitey hating QB......I like the way the wind is blowing these days :]

This is a no brainer:

The Santa Clara cops refused to work for the stadium because of his attitude about police so there is a safety problem for the team and its owner.
http://time.com/4478542/colin-kaepernick-police-union-boycott-games/

A double digit drop in TV ratings.
http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news/nfl-tv-ratings-dropoff-protests-colin-kaepernick-49ers-boycott-fans-espn-cbs-nbc-fox/23puzjzpkl1v15rv3sixi112m

The fans are boycotting the league:
http://boston.cbslocal.com/2016/10/05/nfl-ratings-week-4-boycott-colin-kaepernick-national-anthem-protests/

The chance the NFL may lose the golden goose of the TV contracts due to low ratings on games other than the 49ers, thus advertisers:

All this is adding up to one thing: money. The league is expensive to run. And without the fans, they are dead broke.

ESPN can always hire him- I dare them! I would finally give up my addiction to College sports, except for the games I have tickets for- Many of my neighbors have cancelled all pay television out of disgust with ESPN- we are the holdouts, as well as the house that hosts all my neighbors-

That’s my take on it.

Evidently other owners must agree with us to an extent.

He did have some talent, to have been where he was.

He just tossed away something that millions of kids aspire to.

The words ‘Dufus’ and ‘anti-American’ come to mind.

Colon Krapernick started out making about a million dollars a year, but hit the big time in 2015.

“In 2015, Kaepernick signed a six-year, $114 million contract that included a $12.33 million signing bonus. His base salary jumped from $645,000 in 2014 to $10.4 million in 2015 before climbing to $11.9 million in 2016.” (https://www.gobankingrates.com/personal-finance/colin-kaepernick-net-worth/)

That contract probably made him hard to dump, mid-season.

Unless he squandered the money, he should walk away with a net worth of $20-25 million.

So he blew about $75-$80 million dollars of potential earnings on his little stunt - not counting endorsements.

They sound as clueless as our law enforcement spokespersons who mull possible motives for a Muslim who attacks strangers while shouting, “Alahua Akbar!”

Maybe he can leave football and get an executive job with Target or United Airlines. He is already well-trained in negative publicity and antagonizing the customer base.

I see him as a midseason replacement for the Browns. The locker room entrance has a sign

“THROUGH me you pass into the city of woe:
Through me you pass into eternal pain:
Through me among the people lost for aye.
All hope abandon, ye who enter here.”

Shows why they lose so much. A second tier QB at best has gotten worse over time not better plus he’s a PITA

Maybe Canada (CFL) or the Arena league?
