So if someone is in your house that you don’t want to be there, you can’t call the police to remove them?

He has a HUGE lawsuit, regardless of his past actions. My view, United had no legal right to remove anyone from that flight because of its mistake in overbooking. The only legitimate thing they could do is continuing upping the payoff until they got 4 takers. They were offering $800 and a hotel. They needed to keep going, whether it took $10,000. At some point they would have gotten volunteers. But what they can’t do is grab someone who wants to go home that day and forcibly remove them. Now it will cost them a lot more than what they were offering.
