Heck, they weren’t active when I checked in on them a couple of times. But they’re enjoying easier access to Yucca Valley now that the cam was moved yesterday.
Didn’t get to see Princi ledge but did get to watch him/her eat a whole snake last night. You should have seen the look on Altera’s face. LOL
Been keeping an eye on things overseas. Hoping today will be the day Zile shows up. Poor Ozols has been busy making the nest beautiful for her and she needs to admire his handiwork. :-)
It would be scary fun! Scary for the hubbies. LOL!

I’ve read about the snake episode and I wish I had seen it! LOL! He’s getting to be a real little cutie!
The other two have enjoyed having more space and I think Primo thinks since he’s oldest that he needs a room of his own. :)
I haven’t seen either the eagles or the storks tonight. That nest looks very cushy though! Moss is a good idea! :)
Made it home, got Mom out and around the house, and got her fed. More signs with her name on them so she is hanging back from her big window. No signs, but it doesn’t do any good no matter how many times I tell her.
I did talk to Karma and he will help me get her down the last stair into her downstairs wheelchair. I think I will be able to get her into the car...just a couple steps, and then out at the pain center. Saying a prayer that they will inject her with the “jello” stuff. I hope they say yes and soon. Then he will help me get her up the step to the stair lift, which we can handle.
It will be the first time she’s been downstairs since October when she fell trying that step, and Karma to the rescue.
The firepower demonstrations were conducted for foreign generals. Never saw so much brass in one place. NATO, SEATO etc. We were a few miles away from the action but out there in the desert, at elevation, it didn’t feel that far They lined up a simulated convoy of old deuces, tanks, APCs and weapons carriers and a flight of F-4s swooped in with HE bombs, C130’s with gatling guns and cannon fire and topped it off with another flight of F-4s dropping napalm that engulfed the whole convoy. Pretty impressive. Looked like a preview of things to come as Saddam’s troops tried to escape Kuwait.
It was funny to watch the others’ reactions. Altera’s was the best.
Princi is a little doll. And spunky too.
You keep forgetting you can go back in the videos with the eagles and storks. That’s what I do rather than sit and wait. You should see some of the HUGE clumps of moss Ozols has shown up with this morning.
The eagles were in once, around 6:30, and I just saw that a stranger popped in for a minute not long ago.
Good that she decided to stay away from her window for the evening. At least she won’t be calling you about seeing more signs tonight.
Also good that Karma’s going to be available to help her deal with the steps Friday. Too much chance of you hurting yourself if you tried alone. Don’t need to wrench your knees!
I’m praying they’ll agree to give her the “jello” shots.
I DO forget! LOL! Then when I do remember it’s when I’m on a nest that doesn’t give that option and I get frustrated, because I missed a moment I wanted to capture.
I need to look on the page to see if there’s a video of the snake eater! It wasn’t on Alessondra’s FB page.
Soooo funny! Altera looks around like...now what do I do for something for the rest of them to eat!
It’s a great feature and I wish ALL the cams had it. It would be nice for all the people who watch multiple nests ..... like we do. LOL
They finally set up playback at Poland but it screwed the whole thing up. They must be trying to fix it now since the video screen is just static.
Ozols came in a few minutes ago wheezing and whistling up a storm and I hoed it meant Zile was close at hand but nope. Not yet.
I checked YT and the OKC owl cam site but didn’t see the video posted. It was so late there probably wasn’t anyone awake who makes copies of some of the crazy things that go on at the nest.
Dang! How did you find it? I looked and didn’t luck up on it. LOL
Altera obviously didn’t expect that lil bird to snatch the snake but hey, she dangled it right in his/her face!
The other two still got plenty to eat last night. They didn’t seem hungry when she showed up to begin with. It was Princi’s turn for a good meal.

Well, that’s one way to get something. LOL! Glad it worked this time. It was fun seeing it again. I got a scap of the grab and missed a little of the rest of the action last night and it was nice to see it uninterrupted. Princi looked like he/she wasn’t sure that was the right move to make. GULP
