How do we know that? Were they Muslims or Christians? Friend or foe? IF Assad was trying to destroy ISIS and those associated with the group, bombing ISIS' family members makes perfect sense.
They weren't really his people if he considered them to be the terrorist enemy.
Chlorine is an irritant, sarin a nerve poison. There are safe doses of chlorine, we drink them all the time. I don’t that there are any safe doses of sarin. The foaming at the mouth seen in the Syria victims is one of the indicators of sarin.
Bet that is not the reason.
I don’t want ground troops there either.
Trump has addressed the problems of taking out strong men leaders, and the vacuum it leaves.
I know he made strong statements the other day, but they may have been intended to make Assad take the issue more serious.
It’s not my take that he plans to put troops in and march on Damascus.
There is also the issue of what damage he inflicted at the air-field.
He left 80% of Syria’s aircraft there in tact. He did not destroy the runway.
This tells me he didn’t want to cripple Assad and watch him fall.
I don’t think you have to worry about ground troops, or special efforts to remove Assad.
I don’t want your kid(s) or anyone else kid(s) in there.
We do have special forces on the ground, but I think they are helping to mop up ISIS or other terrorist entities.
It’s not my take they are going to be moving to take out Assad. I really think that would be a mistake. At this point, I think Trump agrees, despite his comments to the contrary.
I’d have to look it up. I am not up to speed on it.
Studying up on these gases can improve your situation if you’re ever exposed to an attack.
The characteristics of the gases can give you a hint at what to do to avoid exposure.
Some lie low to the ground. Others may rise higher into the air. So for one you might avoid the worst parts of exposure, while that might not work for others.
It would be interesting to see what information packets the military hands out to troops.
Having an atropine around (An EpiPen injector) wouldn’t be a terrible idea for anyone to have.
Gases do dissipate over time too, and so that time period would be good to know.
