Let us build a town. A conservative town, where the best of us can live, thrive, raise our families and enjoy a quality of life that just doesn't happen everywhere.
Who will be there? People of courage, commitment and intelligence of course!
What organizations will be there?
Do we all have a role there?
For example:
I want to see Thomas Sowell and his family there. Sowell will be retired, involved in lecture series at the local club.
Michelle Malkin will be there with her family and she will run her web based businesses, raise her family in peace and be a great neighbor and a voice to be reckoned with.
Mark Steyn will be the town crier, and newspaper man. His show will be popular worldwide and give information and hope. He will also sing at the local bar on open mike night. His family will be a busy part of the local scene.
Matt Drudge would be at the local coffee shop working on his computer and watching.
Jim Robinson and all the other Robinson will own the best coffee shop drop in center in town, the hub of intellectual life. The coffee is very good. Chickensoup will be the town librarian.
Who would you like to see in our town?
There are probably many, but one would be Newt Gingrich as historian and Constitutional expert.
Anyone with a work ethic, self respect, respect for others , a desire to help when the need is obvious or asked for, self reliant. Autodidact Polymaths skilled in at least one profession as well but knows a little about everything and a lot about nothing but isn’t afraid to ask for help or research solutions.
My opinion ....
I want in. Village idiot maybe? Ok, how about local family style lawyer for only estate planning and business and part-time bar stool philosopher and evangelist.
You are talking about the best kind of people to have in town. respectful, creative, hardworking.
Autodidact Polymaths were the most respected people in town in the last century.
They made the great leaps of thought and action.

This is our town.
Who do we want in it? Public figures and private friends who would make living in this town a great place?
