The North Korean dictatorship is of one man (little fat Kim) and all of the hierarchy is in mortal fear of death at his whim or fear of the day. Take the little bastard out and North Korea will descend into chaos as the power structure will collapse. A new military power structure will then take over. They will be much more amenable as they do not want to die in a new power struggle or an american tactical nuke.
It is that simple.
Of course the Russians will think we’re after Vladivostok, as well.

We are currently in five wars at the moment, I wonder what Lincoln would think of adding North Korea.
