[NC] Swing State Election Worker Charged With Illegally Changing Records To Allow Felons to Vote
Washington Free Beacon ^ | 4/8/17 | Joe Schoffstall

A North Carolina election worker has been charged with illegally altering voter records so hundreds of felons could vote, The News and Observer reports.

Joy Yvette Wilkerson, a former temporary election worker in Granville County, N.C., accessed voter registration records and restored the active voting status of 250 convicted felons in the county. The activity, which was initially discovered by the Granville County Board of Elections last June, is a felony.

"A State Board of Elections spokesman said Wilkerson was hired on a temporary basis in late 2015 through a staffing agency to help Granville County prepare for the presidential election," the Observer reports. "The county's election director discovered the problem in June 2016 and "quickly notified the State Board of Elections, which investigated the matter and recently sent a full report about the case to the district attorney’s office for Granville County for possible prosecution."

The state Republican Party said Wilkerson's situation shows that more needs to be done in relation to voter fraud.

"Incidents like these prove that attempts to encourage illegal voting, violate the law, and manipulate our voting process do exist and must be countered," Robin Hayes, the chairman of the state Republican party, said in a statement.

"A temporary election worker".

Is this an attempt to soften her actions. Aren't almost all elections workers temporary?

There is no evidence of vote fraud so there is no need to look. Just ask MSNBC, CBS, NPR, the DNC, and the rest of the corrupt establishment.

I think it’s hilarious Al Frankenstein won his first election because the Democratic Secretary of State allowed 341 felons to vote and he won by 312 votes. But there is no significant voter fraud according to the Demoncrats.

But wait! I just heard dem congressmen saying "There is no evidence Trump colluded with the Russians to defeat hillary. That is why we must keep looking!"

They like to think they can make up rules as they go...

The Governor’s race was super close and very suspicious of what happened.

The vote in Durham N.C. was kept open after State polls closed.
Keep in mind North Carolina has the longest vote time of any State in the Union. You can vote early months before the election. Trump won the State, the Republicans swept, BUT... the Governor’s race was tight. Late at night in Durham all these votes suddenly came in for the Democrat Governor when he was down 10,000 votes. This was right around midnight.

Our country was founded on the idea that ordinary citizens would "do the right thing" voluntarily based on traditions of western thought and religion.

Now it's anything goes; no problem as long as you don't get caught. See how much you can get away with. Make your own morality. Rules are for other people.

If Treason is punishable by death because it undermines the very core of the republic shouldnt voter fraud hold the same? If the populace believes that voter roles are corrupt it underminds the integrity of the framework of society... and it is not easily repaired.

A law is just writing on a piece of paper if man is not willing to enforce it. For it is the actions or even inactions of man that bring the law to life. I would rather have people to prevent this than laws.
