Cassandra Hsiao and her family may not speak English in a typical way, but the high school senior's talent with words has caught the attention of all the Ivy League colleges.
Last week, Hsiao, a first generation immigrant from Malaysia who lives in Walnut, California, received the exciting news that she had been accepted to not just one, but all eight Ivy League schools -- a feat few have achieved.
"It was incredible," she told ABC News. "I wasnt home at the time, but I was Facetiming my parents and there were tears on both sides of the screen."
Hsiao, a senior at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA), immigrated to the U.S. when she was about five years old. Her mother was born in Malaysia, while her father was from Taiwan.

There will always be decent people from it matters not where but their desire to follow our Constitution, speak English and help make America great.

I actually did a google search and read some of her writing. It is good. She appears to have earned her spot. Good for her.
The problem with America is that it still has a few old stock native Americans.
More mass immigration will take care of that.
I agree, but we here in Oklahoma got a surprise this week when we learned a local girl from Jenks (white) also got into all 8 Ivies. She had been charting her course since Middle School. Of course, she wasn’t mentioned in the mainstream media because of her white privilege.
