as to lines in the sand - I remember in HS the ‘thing’ was to put a ‘chip on ones shoulder’ daring someone to knock it off, which was usually done by ‘flicking it’.

I was a little dude and someone ‘challenged’ me. Apparently I didn’t follow the rules as I reached up and popped him in the jaw.

The ‘chip’ fell off and I walked away.

Tiger Lily, there are many posts found on FR everyday, such as yours, that are so inane it’s obvious that any thoughtful response would simply be a waste of time. It appears to me you haven’t learned a hell of lot for someone who’s been here that long. But being a slow learner is no disgrace, so don’t fret about it. Did you ever finish high school?

That leaves only three possibilities: 1) You’ve only been politically aware for a very short time due to age, therefore you don’t have enough experience to carry on an adult debate.

Well, I’ve actually been “politically aware” since the District of Columbia voted for the first time in a presidential election. And although I first began perusing FR in the late 1990s, until a couple of years ago I’ve had many more important and interesting things to be doing besides sitting on my arse playing with my ‘puter. (That’s ‘puter, not peter!)
