Well, because it WAS an attack on a sovereign state.
One which we have no business attacking.
Trump DESTROYS “Russia Gate” — a symphony in 59 movements.
But Trump didn’t declare war! That’s not fair. /s
So, Putin is OK with using chemical weapons and considers the treaties against them to be nothing but rhetoric on paper?
And... Shall we talk about the Ukraine now?
Strictly speaking that is correct.
So what? Russia pledged to be sure Syria had removed its chemical weapons. They didn’t
Crimea might have something to say and the Ukraine too about attacks on a sovereign state
Aggression — yes. Act of war — no.
Well, itwasan attackon a sovereign nation but, hell, at least it helps advance the interests of the Saudi & Qatari Islamists. That’s got to be worth something.
Uh, Vlad, buddy? It doesn’t matter what you think.
You mean like invading Georgia and Ukraine?
Oh. Like invading the Ukraine?
It was.
There is no such thing as a “Sovereign State” under the lictor’s lash of a dictator. The people of those nations have every right to depose or kill their oppressors and establish a new government which honors the right of every man to be free. Our position should be to help them do so, and by any means, if the population is being terrorized and murdered by their “leaders”. Their pride and arrogance will disappear when they stand before
G-d and give an account of what they have done. Their punishment will be to experience every shred of suffering they have imposed on their people.
Because it *was* an attack on a sovereign state. A pointless missile strike on behalf of Al-Queda against the Syrian government.
But at least it wasn’t as insanely destructive as Obama’s attack on Deir Ezzor. Or Obama’s coup that toppled the government of Ukraine. Or Obama’s creation and arming of ISIS.
That’s something.
He does have a point. But since we’ve been aggression-ing there for a while seems unfair to bring it up now.
So that is what Putin thinks? And?
