At least Kennedy is willing to do what Ginsburg wasn’t willing to do under Obama.

She screwed the left over by refusing to retire.

Ginsberg will probably kick the bucket before Kennedy retires.

Most of them need to go. Hopefully Trump will get to pick 4-5 justices. He also needs to ask Congress to break up the 9th Circuit, and needs to replace any/all leftover appointees. Hey, while we are at it, get rid of Rinse and ask the House to dump Ryan and his deputies. (Oops, I forgot whirled peas.)

A judge willing to address the actual intent of the law, not interpreting some abstract version catering to political interest.

Kennedy, Ginsburg, Breyer are almost all certainly to be replaced by Trump, especially if he goes 2 terms. Thomas and Sotomayor are both also possibilities. As Sotomayors Type 1 Diabetes very likely could mean she won’t make it to 70... and AA Males unfortunately do have shorter life expectancies.

IF all the dominoes fall a particular way in the next 7.75 years, Trump could literally name 6 Justices to the Supreme Court.

And President Trump only needs 51 votes thanks to the likes of Reed and Schumer.

Sotomayor is a possibility as well if Trump goes 2 terms, she has type 1 Diabetes which means means the odds of her making it to 70 are less than average, and that’s assuming she doesn’t have a debilitating stroke, blindness or other symptoms of her disease make her unable to do the job prior to her death.

Trump will appoint his older sister to the Supreme Court? I thought she retired 5-6 years ago.

Trump should not appoint anyone older than 45 years old. Max.

My bet is that Kennedy will resign, but not until June 2019, after the 2018-19 Court term.

Ginsburg and Breyer will not leave while Trump is President unless it is feet first.

Such was the certitude of the left.

Willing to bet that Notorious RBG had a bad morning after the election : )

IF all the dominoes fall a particular way in the next 7.75 years, Trump could literally name 6 Justices to the Supreme Court.

You're also counting on the Republicans to retain control of the Senate for that entire time. Don't be surprised if Trump loses the senate for at least two of his potential 8 years in office.

If Trump ever has to get a nominee through a Democratic Senate, especially after today, It will end up having to be another Leftie.

I realize she’s a bit older than we would like, but Trump would hard-pressed to find a better nominee than strongly conservative/libertarian Janice Rogers Brown. As a black woman, she would be hard for the Dems to oppose. Like I said, though - born in 1949, she is a little older than our ideal nominee.

Ginsberg will probably kick the bucket before Kennedy retires.

Or she could be like that gangster played by Lee Strasberg in Godfather II who kept saying he "was dyin' soon" and never did.

The oldest justices ever actually appointed were 64-65. Merrick Garland was claimed to be some kind of compromise because he was around 64.
