Throughout the campaign and the early days of his presidency, President Trump garnered near lockstep support from a number of alt-right leaders and conservative media members. While there were moments of wavering — such as when Trump muddled his positions on immigration and Obamacare — they mostly remained on his side.
Mike Cernovich, the alt-right conspiracy theorist and author praised by Donald Trump Jr. on Tuesday, spent much of Thursday night live streaming and tweeting against the military action and those in favor of it:
After Trump approved missile strikes in Syria on Thursday night, that opinion changed. In sharp contrast to a majority of Republican politicians and many media pundits, the group of alt-right figures criticized Trump after supporting him over Hillary Clinton, who they saw as the more interventionist candidate. I don’t agree with it either. Didn’t agree with Obama bombing Assad/Syria via drones and I don’t support it now.

Trump was trashed by most folks. The idea Conservative leaders were in lock-step with him is pure fantasy.
When addressing this, we first have to make sure folks grasp that their understanding of Alt-Right includes the GOPe.
They think the GOP, the GOPe, and most Conservatives backed Trump. LOL
Many of those folks were NeverTrumpers.
Many of them are now anti-Trump on Syria.
Who could have seen this coming?
I am a mainline conservative and I bailed.

Nancy and Hillary do and that was before this “supposed” chem attack.
If children were harmed and killed by this chem attack then the perpetrator should be caught and killed. I just don’t think Asaad as much of a reason to commit this as he had not to.
So long as we get 2 more swings at SCOTUS in the next 8 years, Trump is all right...
