The United States was not physically attacked by Syria. Last night we became ISIS/Al-Qaeda's Air Force.

Russia and Iran have troops there. Word on the web is we have 10,000 troops already in Syria going after ISIS. This is very dangerous that could lead to war with Russia.

Obama's "Deep State" is certainly still in control....

For Freepers that are not sure.... When George Soros funded Globalists Hillary Clinton and John McCain are happy about this.... Then by default you should know it's bad.

The President wasn’t attacking Syria. He was just staging a demonstration for North Korea. Syria just happened to have something available that needed blowing up.

“Russia and Iran have troops there. Word on the web is we have 10,000 troops already in Syria going after ISIS. This is very dangerous that could lead to war with Russia. “

“word on the web”? Word on the web is that there are alien bases on the far side of the moon too.

And no, this isn’t going to “lead to war with Russia” now matter how many people on InfoWars or Above Top Secret scream it. Those guys talk in tropes and with a sense that everyone operated with cartoon predictability.

“When George Soros funded Globalists Hillary Clinton and John McCain are happy about this.... Then by default you should know it’s bad. “

Seriously? That is how you think decisions should be made?

So if these guys say “Merry Christmas” are you going to burn your tree down and convert to Islam?

Who’s trolling? Is it not a legitimate question? Or is it too inconvenient to answer....or are we now required to be yes-men like democrats? It’s a weak argument to go ad hominem because you don’t like the topic.

my opinion is Trump and Tillerson are trying to provide cover for a military coup in Syria like the one that occured in Egypt.. if that happens out goes ISIS and Russia and prosperity and peace comes to their people

I remember long ago that this argument of Congressional approval really just came down to a president, any president, getting the approval of the Speaker of the House, Majority Leader of the Senate and the Minority leaders of both houses................

So, Enlightened one, please share your thoughts on how these acts relate to the secret agreement reached in early 2012 between the Obama and Erdoğan administrations. The one that pertains to the rat line for bringing weapons through Syria from Libya. The classified part of the Benghazi report that has not been made public. Or could it be that people expressing opinions are not as well informed on the history if this region as they think they are? It doesn't have to be 3D to surpass the level of informtion spread by bloggers and fake news sites as factual.

And in all honesty...it was Trump who was wrong in 2013. Obama did not need congressional approval to attack Syria. The war powers act gave him permission...just like it gave Trump permission last night. So...in 2013...Trump spoke out of ignorance just like Tim Kaine did this morning.

How is this trolling?

For the record I post all types of articles on Free Republic, and have already donated $200 to this web site in the last 70 days.

I am a big supporter of President Trump and alarmed by what happened over the last 24 hours.

I hope President Trump proves me wrong on this one issue.

For the record I support President Trump nearly 100% of what he has done. I almost always post Pro Trump articles on Free Republic.

Field Marshal Kushner made his assessment on the ground, and the Trump strategy changed ...

... then FM Kushner went back to his yacht party to tell his friends about his awesome paintball adventure.

“The United States was not physically attacked by Syria. Last night we became ISIS/Al-Qaeda’s Air Force.”

We’ll never have an understanding of exactly what is going on there. I can, however point out that these airfields (According to the Pentagon who we have to believe, honestly) were devoid of Russian presence.

What anti-ISIS installation in Syria is devoid of Russian occupation ? WTF Does Syria have too many airports and too many aerial assets for Russia to not control ? Who were using these airports anyway ?

A sovereign Syrian fighting force ?

On the other hand, if Kurds were taken out I will be extremely p!ssed off.

No. You guys are ridiculous and it’s typical conservative absolutism. It was 50 freaking tomahawk missiles and you are all in hysterics that he started WW3. Now if he sends 20,000 troops and engages in a shooting war i will be right with you in condemning the action. But honestly, you and many others are quite frankly way out of line with your hysteria.

Alright friend, my apologies. However, I am fed up with the near hysteria over this action last night. People are never happy and Trump is far more conservative than even the revered Reagan. People need to lighten up with him.

The answer is simple: Trump was mistaken when he tweeted this in 2013. He tweeted in ignorance. BHO did not need congressional approval to attack Syria just as trump didn’t need it. The law required him to notify congress within 48 hours of military action and it requires congressional approval of it lasts longer than 60 days. That’s the law. Pretty clear. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know the law...and apparently Trump didn’t know the law in 2013. He does now. Tim Kaine on the other hand still doesn’t.
