“Isis and Al Qaeda are celebrating...”

It appears that Trump has become McCain’s bitch.

That is an excellent point. We have made a huge mistake of titanic proportions with absolutely no evidence to support this aggression into a sovereign nation.I am horrified at the incompetence of trump.

Don't waste your breath. The drama queens and chest-thumpers around here are much smarter than you and I and certainly smarter with better information than the damn President of the United States, right??

More dead mooselimbs is all I see, what's the problem?

Trump is sending a message... did the affected party receive the message?

Trump is not a metrosexual CIC.

One has to appreciate the message delivered to the visiting Chinese who-hah. Lol.

Sad for the people of Syria that PDJT didn’t first actually meet and speak directly with Assad before ordering the US to attack a country that did not attack or threaten the U.S. Sad that he fell for the warmongers pitch and the CIA deep state shenanigans.

Of course no one of us little people actually know anything wrt evidence. The fact is, even if evidence is brought forth, without the people’s confidence in “Intelligence” agencies, said evidence will be suspect. When the people’s confidence in gov’t vanishes, the future of our country is uncertain.

Tonite I will pray for Assad, his wife and family, and all the people of Syria, except the murderous muslims and complicit forces.

I have to disagree with freepers here who defend Assad regime as a lesser of two evils

Has Assad ever sponsored acts of terror against the United States or Europe? What he does within the borders of his own country to stay in power is no concern of mine. In contrast, the people who are fighting him are the ones sending jihadis to Western Europe and to our shores.

All I can say is that I hope we had good intelligence. It doesn’t make sense that Assad would use chemical weapons against civilians. He would have to be mighty stupid and evil.

President Trump has intel that we are not privy to.

I’m prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. I shall wait and see.

“strikes on Syria was in the vital national security of the US”

If I may correct: “strikes on Syria were in the vital national security of Saudi Wahabbis, Israel and the Turkish Caliphate.”

> This is a disaster. <

If the article is correct, yes, you are right.

Assad is a tyrant, and even more so IF he really did order those gas attacks. But if Assad falls, his replacement will be much worse. Islamic radicals slit throats and burn people alive. No improvement there.

At least Assad doesn’t try to blow up civilians in New York and Paris.

Seems a lot of conservative voters are OK with what for 8 years we had a serious problem with. Being a damn doormat.

The world was pleading for obama to do ANYTHING the last time chemical weapons were being used. The majority of this board called him a P**** for not doing anything. What the hell happened to those people?

My son is a Captain in the 101st - he has been in Kuwait/Iraq 3 out of the past 4 years - he just got home in December - I don’t want him or any of our troops sent to Syria.

Don't know if it makes you feel better, but WH says the attack is retaliation for the gas attack, the missile strike is not "regime change," it is retaliation and a painful lesson to not gas people. Apparantly we have intelligence that the gas is stashed where the missiles were directed.

Other than that, too early to tell what the fallout will be, and I'm not well enough informed to hazard a guess how the strike will play out with Russia and other powerful players.

My seat of the pants is that this is not the start of WWIII. It's credible that the strike is nothing but retaliatory, and if accepted as such, is not a threat to Russian interests of orderly regime change in Syria after the terrorists are more or less dispatched.
