A very beautiful city, with lots and lots of stone houses from the 1700’s. Edinburgh impressed me, as did most of Scotland.

My mother grew up there in Glasgow. I remember she use to take me to the Edinburgh castle and that huge cannon they have Mons meg. I have a picture of myself sitting on it when I was 5. Scotland, England is unbelievable when it comes to history, it’s nothing over there to see something that is 400 - 600 years old, even a 1000. What I can’t figure out to this day is how the hell did that move that cannon around? LOL!

I liked Scotland too, much better than our visit to Ireland. The Highlands are beautiful, and we got to the Isle of Skye. There are so many small islands in the inner and outer Hebrides, and I wish I could have seen more of them.
