On Thursday’s Breitbart News Daily, SiriusXM host Raheem Kassam asked John Bolton about allegations that former National Security Adviser Susan Rice abused intelligence resources to spy on President Obama’s political opponents, including Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
“I think she absolutely deserves the opportunity to clear her name, under oath, before several congressional committees,” Bolton responded. “And probably so do a lot of other people in the Obama administration, right up to and including the president.”
“You know the famous question that Sen. Howard Baker asked repeatedly during the Watergate hearings: ‘What did the president know, and when did he know it?’ That question needs to be put to Barack Obama,” he recommended.

Nunes removed from the Committee, Flynn gone, numerous Obama people in powerful positions, Sessions recused himself at a big moment. He kept Comey. Trump reversed on Syria, the same security state in power. I haven’t seen any response to one puny federal judge blocking the refugee order. We are still in the Paris Treaty. Obamacare getting one or two minor tweaks was the big plan. Its April and still no Gorsuch. No “lock her up” anymore. So I’m beginning to get how much the election mattered. And get serious, Obama won’t be asked anything....ever.
They can’t even find the backbone to line up behind Nunes or Trump, or fire an Obama appointee, and he thinks they are going to question Obama? Please...
The very non-partisan former president Obama can not be expected to stoop beneath the dignity of his impeccable track record and answer the questions of these political hacks. This has nothing to do with law or even right or wrong. It’s just politics. Besides, holding the first black president to the same standards as former presidents who were all old, white males, is just racist.

Perhaps we should thank the stars or whatever providence watches over fools, children, drunks and Americans, that Donald J. Trump is NOT a Republican at heart, or a conservative, or a libertarian. He is a nationalist, and he wears it on the outside, for all to see. He is not in the least loath to knock heads if that is what is needed to get to the deal. Persuasion is just his way, and some people feel “cheated” that he managed to talk or trade them into acceptance. But they always had the option to get up and walk away, and that is precisely the strategy that is Trump’s fallback position.
This is in sharp contrast to the “My way or the highway” style of negotiations that has been the fashion of the liberal factions within both the Democrats (all of them) and the Republicans (also known as RINOs).
