A Democrat on the House intelligence committee says he believes some of President Donald Trump's associates will "end up in jail" when the Russia-related investigations are completed.
Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro wouldn't say whom he believes could be charged with a crime or why. He says that based on unspecified evidence he has seen thus far, his impression is that some people will face charges.

This story is running on the AP press line today. AM radio news plays it every quarter hour. But really, no one believes the fake news anymore.
I think what the dems are going to TRY to say is that after winning the election, the President Elect’s team talked to Russians (as well as many other foreign governments) and ending Obama’s stupid sanctions were discussed.
Even if the Russians were the ones bringing it up, and Trump’s people may have said they’ll discuss it after Trump is sworn in, do people REALLY believe the President Elect—and his team—did anything illegal by having conversations with foreign governments? Trump DID win and has a right to gather information, talk to people, and plan his administration. It is a very busy time and they shouldn’t have to be looking over their shoulders. Obama was a lame duck, and the world keeps turning even without him.
It is just preposterous, but I belief that’s an angle they’ll try to push.

Even if Trump associates had conversations with the Russians what could they possibly say that would involve criminal charges? Trump certainly didn’t need Russian money. Trump or his people didn’t hack the DNC or Podesta.
