How is this program any different that what George Zimmerman was doing in his condo neighborhood one cold winter night when a certain Trayvon went thugging about?
I’m all for COP (Citizens on Patrol) type programs that foster healthy relations between cops and citizens. But everyone must know where the lines are. And know that you better not cross those lines.

How is this program any different that what George Zimmerman was doing in his condo neighborhood one cold winter night when a certain Trayvon went thugging about?
The program that Zimmerman was doing was private, rather than public, and didn't result in creating an expense to the taxpayers to pay a police department member to write and send scads of letters to "alleged" speeders.
