In this space, I have mentioned the concerns of several Christian readers that they will face pressure in their companies to declare themselves in favor of same-sex marriage, or stand exposed as “bigots” and marginalized. This is now happening in Australia. A reader there sends this story from The Australian. Excerpts:

Really. It’s the same thing. I take it that Australia doesn’t have, as an enshrined right, freedom of religion? (unless, like other western nations, it’s muzzies, you know, the ones who will lop your head off for being a non-muzzie, or throw you from a tall building if you’re a sodomite).

Yep. In some Muslim lands many Crescent moons ago Christians were required to wear big heavy crosses around their necks to single them out from the Muslims.
The ‘pressure’ to show acceptance of the sodomite community is growing. In order to use Airbnb, either as a host, or a guest, one must sign a declaration of “non-discrimination” (acceptance) of sodomites. If you have a an extra room or guest house you’d like to rent out, but don’t want men sodomizing each other on your property, Airbnb won’t allow you to use their service unless you allow such disgusting behavior on your beds. I was told that even people seeking to stay at a place listed through Airbnb must also sign the same acceptance document.
Since they want to force their users to sign a document essentially stating their fine with sodomy, I certainly won’t be using their service!

Media lie. This is not 'equality' in any way, shape, or form. This is superiority with regard to homosexuality. They are, de facto, making traditional marriage an inferior institution.

I don't recall seeing any flag pins during the 1950's. These started to appear around 1970, during the Vietnam War.
Adlai Stevenson III, a liberal Democrat, famously wore one during his campaign for the US Senate from Illinois in 1970. After he won, he took it off, saying he was glad he didn't have to wear it anymore.
“A gay police officer’s full-time assignment is to go around to businesses and ask them to display a “gay safe-space” decal in their storefront windows. This has acquired the status of “an offer you can’t refuse,” since - the last time I heard - not a single business had refused to display the decal.”
Some business ought to stand up to the bullies and say they won’t make a special exception for the sodomites, and until there’s a sticker for EVERY ‘special’ group, no sticker will go up. Of course it would be easier for the cop to just put a gold star on the window of that business.

Can people who call themselves Christians lie? Certainly, there are scriptural references to lying. There are also scriptural references concerning wisdom and discernment.
I'm astonished that this hypocrite was actually reelected after 1972.
