It's Undocuweek at UC Merced.
Undocuweek is a five day series of seminars to help undocumented students and their family members.
Alejando Delgadillo works closely with undocumented students at the university, he says ever since President Trump was elected many them have not been able to focus on school.
"He promised to deport 11 million people, build a wall, and the recent actions of the Trump administration ICE in particular has really put a deal of fright in these communities," said Alejandro Delgadillo, Associate Director of the Calvin E. Bright Success Center.
Delgadillo says Undocuweek will have seminars that address healthcare, immigrants rights, and a plethora of other topics including addressing hard questions like what happens to the children if their parents are deported.
"An Attorney will be coming in to speak about that," said Delgadillo.
Undocumented student Christian Santos says now more than ever undocumented students need all the help they can get.
"Learning our way around the campus, figuring out how to submit applications and applying for internships, getting involved with a community we've never been involved with, you know learning my way around was the most difficult thing for me as well as other undocumented students here," said Santos. "That's why i'm glad we're having these week, and thankful we have a school that supports us."
Delgadillo hopes to not only help undocumented students during these uncertain times but also to bridge the gap between them and the rest of society.
"It's important to not only have our campus be aware of who they are but also be compassionate to them and a resource for them. That's why we have this week," said Delgadillo.

This event certainly fits the “aiding and abetting” of illegal aliens found in our U.S. Code, and the organizers should be arrested.
Look through any university’s site and you’ll find they all cater to illegals. Withdraw government funding and watch them yell.
