My own father came to this country (legally) in 1923.
He worked steadily, even through the Depression
and served in the US Navy as one of the original
Fighting SeaBees in WWII.
The Scots of his generation were a completely different breed from
those who are squandering the heritage of that once great land today.
I seriously believe that most of the Scots who bore
the "old blood" left long ago. The town in which he was
born is overrun with Communists today ...
and who knows what tomorrow.
