Yes, he did have a crash a while back, but, to his credit, that was not his fault. He experienced an engine failure right after take off in a populous area. Steered it into a golf course to avoid a residential area and survived the crash.. Gotta give him kudos for that one. I have no inkling about the particulars of this current event.
I believe McShame is responsible for crashing/destroying 4 planes.
