My question is where does Comey fit, in this? He just remarked in the most recent hearing that there was no evidence Trump’s tweet was true, that he was “wire tapped”, by Obama.
Did he not know Trump phone calls to Australia and some other country we’re captured and said to be on transcripts? The details of the conversations were quoted in the NYT.
Comey does not seem to know about, or have to answer for what is going on against Trump, or is possibly a part of it.

I think he is playing word games with “wiretap” that has a narrow specific meaning to intel people, while Trump uses everyday words like “wiretap” to describe all sorts of surveillance.
