Germans are very conformist and extremely politically correct. Accuse them of still hating Jews and wanting to exterminate them, and their heads will explode. Its probably one of the few anti-Islamist weapon that still exists in Germany.

But it is not just the Germans. Britain has millions of Muslims and blacks, France, Sweden, Netherlands and other countries are taking in many Muslims, not to mention the United States. The madness that is happening today is a long time warped dream of the globalists who have been dreaming of a One World Government under the United Nations. The UN is also passing many under cover laws and treaties that are taking away our national sovereignty. Europe fell under the European Union without the approval of the people. This is how they work —they go behind the people’s backs and they have been building on this idea for more than a century.
This is precisely why so many democrats favor Muslim immigration. Today's democrats hate the Jews. They are willing to destroy America if they get to see the Jews targeted first.

Back then, 50 or 60 years ago, it didn't seem like a problem. For one thing, Germans expected the Gastarbeiter to go back home after they'd earned enough. But radical Islam really wasn't on anybody's radar screen two generations ago.
I don't know how they got from then to now, but I don't think there was a massive popular demand for more Muslim immigrants. Refugee and asylum policies were in place and Syrians made use of them as other people had earlier. Angela Merkel wanted all those refugees, but did the average German?
Even now, though, a lot of the foreigners in Germany are from Eastern Europe or from EU countries. That includes one of Europe's largest Jewish populations. As strange as it may seem many Russian Jews actually prefer living in Germany to living in the US, Russia or Israel.
That may be changing now.
