This Economy Is Ruined For Many Americans

Those who lost out on the Fed’s “wealth effect.”

Here’s a mystery: Has this “wealth-effect” economy that the Fed so beautifully engineered since the Financial Crisis gotten a lot riskier, scarier, and uglier in some profound ways for lower-income Americans, those making $30,000 or less a year?

One of the questions that Gallup posed was this:

"Next, I’m going to read a list of problems facing the country. For each one, please tell me if you personally worry about this problem a great deal, a fair amount, only a little, or not at all? First, how much do you personally worry about – "

Then came 13 issues, including “hunger and homelessness.”

Turns out, among Americans making $30,000 or less a year, 67% worry “a great deal” about hunger and homelessness! Food and shelter, two of the most basic human needs. That’s the highest percentage ever in Gallup’s data series on this question going back to 2001.

{..snip..}

I’m self employed. that being said... I am happily working toward making $30k or less per year. Of course that’s after I’ve paid off everything. $30k allows one to live completely under the radar. If you don’t have kids why not? Every penny you make over $30k per year the government thinks they own it anyway. Screw ‘em.

2010 to 2012, anxiety skyrockets. Why? What happened?

Well, that’s when the government forced low income families to provide free health care for illegal immigrants and the voluntarily unemployed.

And still now, in 2017, nobody in government, from either party, is talking about anything that will reduce this massive burden on low wage workers.

The democrats just want to expand the number of people who get free care.

And the republicans just want to find some way to get more money to the insurance companies.

It’s all just unbelievable!

One should question how many cars these people own, how many have cable and more than one tv, how many spend their money on smokes and booze. You are right about the needs of an individual. But the environmentalists have driven housing through the roof. But if one puts some thought into it it is possible to spend little on food.

Anyone here (or their family or friends) who need help finding a job can contact me. I was a career counselor for 20 years.

The housing and auto part of the budget are way beyond the norms due to government regulation and taxes.

Obambi and his fellow travelers put many items into Obambicare in order to hinder economic development. They all believe that America is too rich (except for the rich libs). One of the main provisions was that 30 hours a week is full-time work. Many, many businesses immediately cut everyone to just 29 hours a week, thus the businesses did not have to provide health insurance. Another main provision was any business with 50 or more employees HAD to provide health insurance. So, many businesses cut total number of people, while others made sure not to expand to 50. Instead of the unbridled growth that usually occurs after a recession, the recession never really ended, they just cooked the books to appear there was ‘some’ economic growth.
Creepozoids all.

Another important question that should have been in the survey: “How many times have you Tweeted on your iPhone that you worry about hunger and homelessness?”

Those are the people most affected by bubble-induced runups in housing costs.
