Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” House Intelligence Committee ranking Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said it is “way premature” to conclude that members of President Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.
“I don’t think we can say anything definitively at this point,” Schiff said. “We are still at the very early stages of the investigation.

“We can’t say anything definitive” makes it SOUND like he has something in the works, that he’s building a case, and that he just needs more time. But he’s really saying that he has nothing.

Recall that the Left always accuses normal Americans of what they are in fact themselves doing. Now recall the odd question in the debates about whether or not Trump would promise to accept the legitimacy of the election, and the crazed, over-the-top hysteria when he would not answer “unreservedly yes”.
They’ve been working on the “resistance” for a year now. Unless and until we start rounding them up and prosecuting them for seditious conspiracy, this will go on and on.

Of course, they can’t tell us what’s there so that the people can decide. Classified, dontcha know. So, we’re stuck on whatever they tell us, while those same liars leak to the friendly media what they want to be known for agit prop.
Aw, come on, Schiff. Why don't you just come out and admit that the only purpose of this "investigation" is to give Hillary cover for her blatant profiteering in collusion with Russia when she was at the State Department?
We know that Hillary started inexplicably talking about Trump and Russia during her campaign. It was obvious to any thinking person that she was accusing the Conservative of doing what she did--just like every liberal does to deflect attention from their misdeeds. Obama had already ordered an investigation of Trump on her behalf and found nothing, a fact which was published quietly in October and never picked up by the MSM. I think the calculus with that investigation was that they would find something with which to smear Trump right before the election and be able to erode his support enough to make him lose. It didn't work--the investigation was a nothing burger, and Trump won handily. So now the whole thing is picked up again, still with no evidence, because the Dems just can't handle the fact that the American people rejected them.
Maybe he's reached a point where it is "put up or shut up"?

We cannot trust the media for accurate reporting so trust your own perception.
Based on the reactions of prominent democrats exiting the recent briefings we are not privy to, there is not only scant evidence of Trump’s wrongdoing, there is something that scares them. Their sudden sober statements and lack of bluster tells you the evidence is not what they expected or wanted - in fact, I think the sudden silence from some of the more blustery bunch points to bad news ahead for someone not named Trump.
