While on the stand, Johnson’s mother cried when Johnson’s defense attorney, Charles Chambers, asked how a prison sentence would affect the children. "If you take her away,” Chambers said, “I feel like that might mess them up.”... “Generally I don’t disagree with a jury sentence — they have all the facts,” he said. “I just think this one — she should have been given probation in this case given her past history and everything ... in this case I feel the sentence was harsh.”

Another bottom feeding attorney. Lock him and grandma up with her. No, the sentence should be as stands and that she serve the full time. The other kids and husband will be better off without mama and grandma around.

I think that the age when she had her first child says it all. fourteen . way to young to be a mother.
