We have control of congress and all the high profile investigations are of ourselves. What’s wrong with this picture?
For the past 50 years, Congress has not been the real power directing the nation.
It has been the Mediacracy, deciding what the issues were, who could be elected and who could not, what was a scandal and what was not, what words mean, and what was socially allowed and what not.
The war we fight is mostly against the Establishment media.
As Rush noted: Is the Media an arm of the Democrat party, or the Democrat party an arm of the Media? The latter is closer to the truth.
Exactly. Year after year, administration after administration, Congress investigates. The Dems and Reps squabble. The media focuses on the scandal du jour and mostly take the Dem side, although there are enough media on the Rep side to keep the entire soap opera going. In the meantime, congress critters who arrive in DC with middle or upper middle class net worths magically become multimillionaires in a few years. And us average Joes and Janes out here continue to be squeezed by the federal behemoth six ways from Sunday.
