The Justice Department intends to expand and modernize the way it conducts deportation proceedings for criminals so that illegal immigrants are deported immediately after they finish prison sentences, officials announced Thursday.
Currently, illegal immigrants who complete prison sentences can spend months held in Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities as deportation hearings progress. This is common sense! I do not understand why this was not being done to begin with....

That and the fact that the Government regulations on building and maintaining such a plant were so costly a plant is in the red from is birth till its death.
That’s true. The Obama Adminstration released thousands of illegal alien criminals instead of deporting them. Some of those were released instead of being deported murdered, raped, or robbed our citizens.
Plus all the druggies he released. Laws are for the white man.
IHP has been around for quite a few years. It’s just that Obama suspended the program around the same time as the 287g program went away. It’s good to see that something that works is back. Aside from IHP, ICE also utilizes “administrative removals” where the incarcerated criminal alien doesn’t see a judge at all. More winning!
