Lets not forget MIT. They just sent an all staff email saying that their analysis of the proposed budget might mean up to a 10% cut of campus revenues. They get an enormous amount of Federal research dollars each year - much of it through Lincoln Labs for hush-hush defense research. Even though they arguably get the most private research money of any university in the world, it is not near what they get from Uncle Sugar.

Yale needs to prove its value by fixing New Haven.
This is a critical area to defund. The dems live off of the government in one way or another. Grants to colleges is a big one to go after. There could be a few military grants, but generally the private sector is as good or better. And the good ones would jump ship if the funding dried up. They also need to heavily tax those endowments.
