It’s Official – President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi Will Visit White House on April 3rd…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | March 28, 2017 | Sundance

This meeting is VERY important. The geopolitical messaging and value of this visit cannot be overstated. Remember, President Obama never even called President al-Sisi after his election win, and never invited him to the White House. As a result of specific Obama policy (and design) their paths only crossed once in New York at the U.N. assembly.

President Trump and Secretary Tillerson hosting Egyptian President al-Sisi and his full diplomatic entourage at the White House is a historic shift in U.S. policy and approach.

Having closely followed Egyptian politics, and accepting there are multiple similarities to our own challenges, my personal opinion of al-Sisi has been very favorable for a long time. I genuinely believe at the core of al-Sisi is a very rare leadership skill-set of a very strong and consequential leader. President Trump and President al-Sisi should be natural allies.

Al-Sisi is a very good leader and a very intelligent man.
He is exactly the kind of man we want as an ally. Thankfully Trump recognises this

Agreed.
Al Sisi in Egypt and King Abdullah of Jordan are traitors to Islam and Islamic Heretics, and us Kafirs should cultivate a good relationship with them, and suport those two Infidel collaborators.
We need people like them on our side.

Both have to be at the top of the assassination list of the fundamental Muslims.
They have a good chance of ending up like Anwar Sadat of Egypt, if the back to basics Muslims can get to them, and I am sure they are planning to kill both of them.

As a group the Kurds should also get our support as they have a good record of collaborating with us Infidels. -Tom

we are in the midst of an American Spring
______________
Where I am, it’s the start of Mud Season. Probably climactic spring in DC and points south, but it’s political Mud Season in America right now.

Spring cleaning can’t be far behind.

We’ve heard of the Arab Spring, but I’d like to suggest we are in the midst of an American Spring.

Nice sentiment but terrible analogy. The Arab Spring, actively supported by Obama and Hillary, led to the rise of Islamic extremism in Egypt (thankfully they rose up and overturned that), Libya destroyed and in chaos (directly leading to the innundation of Europe with so-called refugees via Libyan ports), Syria in flames while we support the islamist side (thanks Obama) and per some reports 1.3 million deaths.

The arab spring was a wild success from Obama's perspective, more islamists in charge all over the middle east and muslims rapidly overwhelming Europe. From anyone sane's perspective, it was a absolute and total disaster.

I accept your criticism on the basis of the two efforts.

This has been a bit of a revolutionary moment none the less.

Overall, I still think it plays, even though one was sinister and the other wholesome.
