At their first sit-down as party leaders in December, Chuck Schumer pledged to tell Mitch McConnell exactly what’s on his mind going forward — no subterfuge or backbiting.
"You and Harry didn't get along,” Schumer recalled saying, referring to his predecessor, Harry Reid. “Each of you thought the other was a liar. But I've learned in life if people think people are liars, sometimes they misconceive things when they don’t know the whole story.” Schumer went on: “Mitch, I’m from Brooklyn. I will tell you what I think. Sometimes you’ll like it, sometimes you won’t. But I’m not going to try to surprise you."
Schumer wasn’t kidding about laying it all out in the open. The Democratic leader is now predicting victory over McConnell in two partisan confrontations about to come to a head, over the Supreme Court vacancy and a potential government shutdown. Never mind that the Democratic Party is in its weakest state in more than a decade.

Chuck Schumer is headed for a HUGE psychotic breakdown on the Senate Floor. He has been weaving in and out of bouts with sanity for some time now, and the proportions of clarity and irrationality are shifting into the red zone.
Elections have consequences.
In this case, the GOPe candidate (Jeb) did not win — and that means the Progressive Democrats get sole control of the government for 4 years.
If there were only 2 democrats in the Senate they'd find a way to stop progress because the other side is weak, dishonest with themselves and their voters, they crave the approval of the rich and 'elite' and they have no moral or ethical compass. They stand for nothing but their own personal power, perks and privileges. It's ALL they care about.

Whoa! Schumer better watch out! McConnell is probably drafting a strongly worded letter as we speak. Schumer’s butt is McConnell! You mess with the turtle you get the letter!
The immaturity of the Democrats is on full display. Politico is supportive. Someone needs to point out that Hillary played ‘The Election Game’ to get more money, as she thought the Election was in the bag. Trump played ‘The Election Game’ to win the Electoral College and he won. When will someone point out the fact that the American people elected Trump, fair and square. If they had wanted Garland, or some other Leftist judge, they would have elected Hillary. Period. Schumer needs to grow up, but sadly that’s not in the playbook of Democrats.
I wish I had more hope in McTurtle than I do, but it’s just not there...
If McConnell lets Schumer roll him, he should be replaced as Leader. We need strong men at this time to support the President..
and just to think, this very well could be our last opportunity to stop the liberal/progressive/socialist tide wrecking our nation...the republicans will blow it once again.
