Bay Area Tech Executives Indicted for H-1B Visa Fraud

When they go after Disney, Microsoft, Google, Tyson Foods I will pay attention.

Let’s start with revoking the visas, require future hires at any company on the program be paid the going rate withing the US, and making the company ineligible for any H1-Bs or any other similar program until each displaced worker is either rehired or working elsewhere at the same or higher pay.

I was waiting for my Polish girlfriend at the SFO international gate about a year ago. There was wave after wave of Indians all getting picked up by tech companies holding up signs with the names of the new arrivals.

The men are charged with 26 counts of visa fraud, conspiracy to commit visa fraud, use of false documents, mail fraud and aggravated identity theft, according to prosecutors.

Hope it doesn't end there! There's a lot of payola going on and I'm willing to bet that the visa recipients are also living in a group apartment or condo or home, paying enormous rent to the home owner or lessee which is making it's way to the original men charged with hiring them.........

About 15 years ago, here in S.E. Michigan there was such a ring busted where 18 Indian techies were discovered living in an apartment in Troy, each paying approx. $800 per month to the individual leasing the apartment.........
