[The Westerner]

Whenever I think about where the unopposed Jihadis are taking the Western world, I picture a world where the Acropolis is smashed in rubble, where Bach, Beethoven and Brahms are never heard, where all beauty is gone. To be alive at this crossroads of history is heartrending. Like it was when Hitler tried to destroy most of the Western world and Stalin and Mao took care of the rest. It seems we are on a downward trajectory historically. The destroyers are gaining a foothold just as communism is being defeated everywhere but the US. We have a small window of freedom in which to fight, but it's closing airtight, especially with the digital history of our lives catalogued and at the ready to be used as blackmail or worse.
