There isn’t another House member right now who could get 218 Republican votes for Speaker. What you’d get is another mess which is the last thing Trump needs right now. You might even get a moderate Republican Speaker elected with 30 Republicans and all the Democrats. For better or worse, Trump and Ryan are a team.

Of course Trump didn't use the judge to put out the message, which was delivered with vengeance. Trump merely suggested people watch the judge to boost her rating.☺

Priebus is fake news. He needs to be ousted and shut up after Ryan comes down. Sick of this fascist

hey all

wondering if it could actually all be kabuki theater for benefit of keeping masses temporarily on hold?

(1) trump’s main suit is economy. first priority is fix economy through tax cuts and entitlement related budget cuts. if he does this, he wins hearts and minds of enough LIVs to do whatever else he wants on his agenda so taxes are de facto first.

(2) obamacare left to itself will implode. this is the ace in the hole for republicans. this is why no plan for obamacare fix from democrats (to my knowledge— and note that sanders is formally not a democrat, iirc). so republicans always have option to wait on obamacare and blame democrats; this happens to be exactly what they are doing right now.

(3) if republicans kick over too many liberal anthills at once, there is a downside risk that they could lose elections in 2018. so if they can wait until a better timing opportunity occurs, then they should wait, at least until they can gain some coverage for some of the GOP-lite wing members up for re-election in 2018. Some GOP-lite might actually be GOP-lite in name only, and in fact ready to deliver when the rubber meets the road, eg, USSC nomination confirmation votes. Some GOP-lite may have to vote liberal at times when it does not really “count,” else they lose in the next election. Like it or not, hard right might need those votes when the going gets tough.

Now Judge Jeanine is saying President Trump should just work with whoever, Democrats or Republican because "party doesn't matter."

Well, that's just stupid. Democrats will always be working for evil and against the USA.

Huge waste of time and possibly dangerous for America. Better to just find a way to leverage RINOs.

President Trump needs to start cleaning house else he will lose his base—voters who elected him to lead changes. He failed to keep his day one promises, he let Ryan bring up a stupid Obama Lite replacement. Trump is failing and will fail if he doesn’t stop Ryan and company from undermining him.

Preibus is in Ryan’s back pocket. I wouldn’t trust Priebus any more than I would trust Ryan.

So Trump encourages his followers to watch Judge Jeannine, then Priebus tells us to ignore her message. These guys really need to get their shit together; it’s starting to be comical.
