Claim: Mass Migration Will Not Help Solve Skilled Worker Shortage

Head of the Federal Agency for Labor, Frank-Jürgen Weise has said that new migrants and asylum seekers have little chance of filling Germany’s skilled worker problem because very few of them meet the needed qualifications. Frank-Jürgen Weise has had a long career in the German government and is now retiring at the age of 65. Mr Weise, who also briefly managed the Federal Agency for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) admits that despite the unemployment rate being lower than when he first took office as head of the Labour agency, migrants will not be able to meet the increasing demand for skilled work in Germany RP Online reports.

Speaking to the site Weise said, “ only ten to 15 percent of the refugees are well qualified and find a job within a year. A large group has practical experience, but no recognised training.” He added, “And 20 percent have neither school nor vocational training. This makes it clear: refugees are not an answer to our professional deficit.”

“new migrants and asylum seekers have little chance of filling Germany’s skilled worker problem because very few of them meet the needed qualifications.””

However, they have become very adroit at terror, raping, murder, honor killings........ and beheadings !!
Angela Merkel......... sees No Cap to the number of invaders she’ll allow into Germany !!!

Here is what progressives have used against Islamic terrorists:
1. Twitter hashtags.
2. Candle light vigils.
3. Red lines that have no meaning.
4. Sanctions.
5. Appeasement.
6. Mass immigration.
7. Foreign aid.
8. Conferences.
9. More mosques.
10. Welfare.

—How’s that working out ?!!

Multiply that 80-90% unemployability ratio times the number of offspring not yet in the stats.

Well of course.

So the next question: how soon will they assimilate and adopt the language and culture? The sooner that they do this, the sooner they or their children will start filling the skilled jobs.

National governments should care about the people of their nation.
Elected officials should care about the people who elected them.

Stop under-cutting wages by importing cheap labor.
Demand good schools which give people skills and a work ethic.

Build your people and your people will build your nation.

Importing problems is no solution.

Import millions of the kind of males who are happy to abandon their women and kids in a war zone. Who are illiterate in the host country’s language. Who are possibly functionally illiterate in their native language. Who have no desire to assimilate. Yeah, what could go wrong.

Same situation in the US

Liberals and globalists keep bringing in thousands upon thousands of uneducated, non-English speaking, low IQ, no-skill rejects from around the world but greedy capitalists won’t hire them to fill all those nice high paying, high-skill tech jobs!

/sarcasm

To work in Germany, one must have the skills and brains required to read and comprehend and then comply with the dense, turgid, EU regulations that are the equivalent of regulations regulating the implementation of America’s OSHA regulations.

The EU has regulations that no one understands and can be certain of correctly following them. To expect a semiliterate to be subject to those regulations and obliged to read and then interpret and then comply is madness

Weiss is probably one of the most intelligent and clever guys that Germany ever had as a government service guy. He came into the German Army in his youth....got a lot of university-related classes....becoming highly recognized as a professional manager.

I’ve seen several interviews with the guy...combination Einstein-thinker, military leader (not a general), blunt-truth guy, and very capable of ordering people to do tasks that they aren’t happy about but need to do.

This BamF (the immigration agency for Germany) was completely screwed up when the boss quit in 2015. Weiss was asked to come in and fix (emphasis heavily upon the word fix) the mess. He forced a lot of changes, but also educated the Berlin crowd on what exactly they had signed up for, and laid out the lack of any prior thinking of this whole migration plan.

He is correct in what he says. The only way to come up with future trained and capable employees for German companies is to recruit from within Europe itself, and bring Europeans into Germany to do the jobs.

They know all about sheep. Is there a job for that? Used to be you had to prove you were capable of making your way and healthy before you were allowed here. Like that in most countries.

Those that say that not letting refugees in is NOT WHO WE ARE. Well to those I would say we are a nation of laws and if you feel an obligation to someone who could be no more than a leech to our society, you vouch for them and bring them into your home, feed, clothe and house them and stand up for your convictions. We don’t need any NIMBY’S which certainly describes 90 percent of liberals.

I have become convinced that corporations want these people brought in for one reason: to buy products & boost their profits. These corporations do not care about moral hazard. They do not care if these people earn their $$ or get it from the Government. They do not care what havoc they wreak on their host country and its culture. All they care about is the bottom line and next quarter’s profits.

And, of course, these companies pay politicians to toe their line.

What am I missing? We, my friends and I, knew this would be a problem when we first began studying it.*** I guess all those hours memorizing the Qur’ran, Hadith, etc. counted, maybe as participation time?

***How did we ever know literacy would be a job obstacle or problem for the swarms of people from the Levant and Africa?

We knew because it is a problem here that no one is really talking about it. Just think of the ramifications here in the USA not only now but in the future with huge numbers of illiterates right here in the good ol’USA> And we are importing them by the thousands. Oh, boy. Wowzie.

There is no reason why businesses can’t train more within the business. There may be a higher upfront cost, but there is savings through loyalty creation and corporate culture.

In a free market there is no such thing as a shortage. There is only an insufficient price to create more supply.

In the case of unfilled jobs, we have 94 million people of working age who are not in the work force. Clearly these people are able to get sufficient food and shelter. So we are somehow subsidizing their non-work and that means government. In some states over 5% of the working age population is on “disability”. In one county in Alabama, over 25% of adults are on “disability”. There is a value to not having to work and clearly too many people are sufficiently comfortable in their subsidized lives to find a job.

I also realize that some jobs like those in agriculture are hard to fill with anyone other than migrant workers from central America. We must pay “benefits” to unemployed residents of inner cities while allowing enough migrant workers in so that the crops can be tended. Clearly because our politicians cannot make the hard policy choices, issue of farm labor that can only be solved by improved automation and by proper government policy on those types of workers.

see:

In One Alabama County, Nearly 1 In 4 Working-Age Adults Is On Disability

If they kill and maim Germans that means Merkel can import more. So why should she be concerned about that?

I would say they should Import Chinamen. They keep to themselves, don’t trust others, work hard, and are educated. It’s not like they will spice up their food and deflower their daughters. A few interracial marriages perhaps.
