The United Nations has raised grave concerns about reports of high civilian casualties in the Iraqi city of Mosul.
A senior UN official in Iraq said she was stunned by accounts of "terrible loss of life", after claims that at least 200 people had been killed in an air strike by the US-led coalition.
US warplanes are supporting the Iraqi Army's mission to retake Mosul from the Islamic State (IS).
US media reports say an investigation is under way.
It is not known exactly when the deaths are alleged to have happened.
However, reporters in western Mosul's Jadideh neighbourhood said they saw 50 bodies being pulled out of buildings on Friday, after they were razed in air attacks earlier in March.

War Crimes is an Oxymoron—WAR IS A CRIME! This is why War should only be a last resort! Perhaps the ISIS people have the right idea—one must be savage, barbaric, and cruel to win and break the back of resistance. Think Romans were nice? Assyrians? (Mosul was Nineveh—their Capital) Nope. In the end—like dropping the A-Bomb on Japan—it saves lives and ends the war quickly.
200? Well, at least they weren’t drowned or burned alive in steel cages or shot to fall into a mass grave, or something..

Exactly right. 200 collateral damage is better than 1,000,000 Christians killed. If those 200 were truly innocent that is tragic, but they also didn’t rise up and stop the war.
The un says nothing when they march a bunch of Christians to a beach in orange jump suits and cut there heads off.
So, the grave concerns of the stunned snowflakes is over a rumor!
